A few years ago, Jaweh Ministries International decided to start with online Bible studies, to encourage and equip people. At first this started with a small group of people, while we were using Skype to play the studies to them. Since not everyone had or wanted Skype, we decided to start an audio stream on our own computer at home. However, our ADSL line could only handle a minimum number of connections, so we hired a audio server in an official server room. From that moment on we started to broadcast Bible studies on every Sunday afternoon and in the evening. We did this for more then a year, with a loyal group of listeners.
In the first months of 2011 we did no longer broadcast on every Sunday, mostly because of a lack of time and because of the storms and trials in our own lives. After a while we decided to start over again and tried to continue the studies on Paltalk, again broadcasting on every Sunday evening. Although Paltalk is a nice system to work with, the quality was not always as good as we wanted it to be. We also noticed that is not easy for everyone to join the Bible study at the same time, mainly because of the many different time zones. Therefore we decided to change our way of working, to make all the Bible studies available to everyone and at every time.
From this moment on, Fire FM is broadcasting 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. You no longer need to download special software or to register. The only thing you need is a computer with fast internet and a music player, such as Media Player, Winamp, iTunes or Real Player.
Now everyone can listen to the Bible studies at every time they want to. In this way we can reach much more people and encourage them at every single time of the day. It is our prayer that the lives of many will be touched and changed forever and that Jesus Christ will receive all the glory for it.
